About SetupBench

SetupBench is a small, independent collection of free tests for gamers and anyone who wants to check their computer gear. We build tools that load instantly, work on any device and answer one question well: how fast am I, and is my equipment working?

What we offer

• Skill tests such as the reaction time test and CPS test, with personal bests and shareable results.
• Setup tests for your mouse, monitor refresh rate, screen pixels and controller.

How we build our tests

Every test runs entirely in your browser using standard web technologies: high-resolution timers for timing, the browser's animation clock for refresh rate, and the Gamepad API for controllers. Nothing you do is uploaded, and there are no accounts. Each test page explains how it measures, what affects accuracy and how to get the most reliable result, because a number is only useful if you know what it means.

Browser measurements include some latency from your hardware and software. We say so on every page rather than promising lab-grade precision. Our tests are ideal for comparing your own results over time, spotting faulty equipment and having fun competing with friends.

Independence

SetupBench is not affiliated with any game, console or hardware brand. Product names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. The site is free to use and may be supported by advertising.
