Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

By using SetupBench you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the tests

The tests are free for personal use. Results are estimates produced by your browser and depend on your hardware, software and settings. They are provided for information and entertainment, and should not be relied on as a professional diagnosis of any device or of you.

Your equipment and your health

Use the tests sensibly. Fast-clicking techniques can strain your hand and wrist; stop and rest if you feel discomfort. We don't provide any rapidly flashing content, but full-screen colour tests change the whole screen at once; stop if this bothers you. Follow your device manufacturer's guidance before attempting any repair suggested on this site, as some may affect your warranty.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the tests accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that they will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated traffic or misrepresent results generated with automation as genuine.

Trademarks

SetupBench is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game, console or hardware company. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
