Speed with a little stamina
Fifteen seconds sits between a sprint and an endurance run. It's long enough that a fast start alone won't win, but short enough to keep most of your top speed. That makes it a good everyday test if 10 seconds feels too short to settle into a rhythm and 30 seconds feels like a workout.
What is a good 15-second CPS score?
| Clicks in 15 seconds | CPS | What it usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Under 75 | Under 5 | Relaxed, normal clicking |
| 75–105 | 5–7 | Average |
| 105–135 | 7–9 | Fast normal clicking |
| 135–180 | 9–12 | Very fast; usually jitter clicking |
| Over 180 | Over 12 | Butterfly or drag clicking |
Your 15-second CPS will usually land just below your 10-second score. If it's much lower, you're probably starting too fast.
How to hold your speed for 15 seconds
- Find a rhythm in the first two seconds and keep it, rather than sprinting and fading.
- Click from the finger with your wrist resting; a tense hand slows down sooner.
- Watch the live clicks-per-second figure. Aim to keep it flat all the way to the end.
