Why a 30-second test is different

Over 30 seconds, your hand starts to tire. Most people click fastest in the first five seconds and slowly drop from there, so a 30-second test shows how well you can hold a pace, not just how fast you can start. It's a good test for games where you click in long bursts, such as clicker games or holding a block-break in Minecraft.

Watch the live clicks-per-second figure as you go. If it starts high and falls steadily, your problem is stamina, not speed.

What is a good 30-second CPS score?

Clicks in 30 secondsCPSWhat it usually means
Under 150Under 5Relaxed, normal clicking
150–2105–7Average
210–2707–9Fast, with good stamina
270–3309–11Very fast; usually jitter clicking held well
Over 330Over 11Butterfly or drag clicking

Expect your 30-second CPS to be a bit lower than your 10-second one. A small drop is normal; a big one means you're starting too fast or tensing up.

How to keep your speed for 30 seconds

Frequently asked questions

Why is my 30-second score lower than my 10-second score?

Because your hand tires. Over 30 seconds the test measures stamina as well as speed.

Does jitter clicking work for 30 seconds?

For most people jitter clicking is hard to hold that long and can strain the arm. Butterfly clicking or a steady normal rhythm usually lasts better.

Is my 30-second best saved?

Yes, on this device, together with a progress chart. It's shared with 30 s on the main CPS test.
